French Bulldogs are attractive and gentle dogs. They are distinguished by their prominent ears and bulging eyes. French Bulldogs also have a curled muzzle and a disproportionately fat body. They stand about 30 cm tall at the shoulders, weigh up to 14 kg, and live for 10-12 years.

French Bulldogs are very social and companion dogs, and this requires that the dogs be constantly in the company of their partner or owner. They do not require any special activity, however, it is best to exercise by walking once a day. French Bulldogs are susceptible to damage caused by passing air because they cannot regulate their body temperature due to their large body mass and flat nose. These small dogs are heavy and therefore have difficulty swimming. When the air is hot and the humidity is high, the dogs can suffer from fever.

French Bulldogs are ideal dogs for people who tend to be calm. They rarely bark, and when they do, it is to attract people's attention or because they want something. The dogs are very patient with their owners, especially children. French Bulldogs are very friendly towards other breeds of dogs, provided that the other dogs are well-socialized.
